I was just reading that only one in ten Americans gets enough fruits and vegetables and that's the average. That's 10%. Some states have much less. (but I won't call them out) Where do you think you fall?
I'm pretty sure we get enough fruits and vegetables in this house and we LIKE them.
Vegetables are important and variety is crucial - they all have different nutrients in them. Branch out. Try something new. Eat lots of different colors. Leafy greens are one of my favorites.
Don't let the cost be your excuse - what's your health worth? Buy what's on sale. Go to the farmer's market. Garden. Peel and chop your own vegetables.
People want to be strong. People want to age slowly. Sounds good, right? Am I right? Eat your vegetables.
