Have you checked out joulefuel.me? They found my blog and thought they would reach out to me and to Ger and Cassie. After checking out their clean ingredients, we've all been trying out the JouleFuel. Ger and Cassie are in San Francisco right now (by the way, the San Francisco Fire won their GRID match yesterday against the Miami Surge 22 - 10! #FiredUp #GRIDmomma)
I tried the Cookies 'N Cream JouleFuel first. Ger had told me it was going to need some fruit in it for flavor enhancement but I love a good challenge when it comes to tweaking. Here are some of the ways I've been working with the JouleFuel when I don't have time to cook.
Peanut Butter Chocolate JouleFuel Smoothie
Put the following ingredients into the Vitamix:
1 slight cup Cookies 'N Cream JouleFuel powder (they say 0.9 cup but who has that measuring cup?)
1 cup coconut milk
6 ice cubes
1 slight TBSP olive oil (again, they say 80% of a TBSP - not 0.8 of a TBSP? Are they scientists?)
1/2 tsp organic peanut butter
Run the Smoothie setting on the Vitamix (or whatever your preferred mixer)
This was really delicious and filled me up like a nutritious and clean meal. You should try it because it's EASY.
Avocado Cocoa JouleFuel Smoothie
Put the following ingredients into the Vitamix:
1 slight cup JouleFuel Cookie 'N Cream powder
2/3 cup coconut milk
1/3 cup coconut water
6 ice cubes
1/2 of an avocado, peeled and pitted
1 tsp cocoa powder
Run the Smoothie setting on the Vitamix.
This gives me a very creamy smoothie meal replacement. Some people would want to sweeten this one up with maybe a tsp of raw honey, but it's good to go for me.
I'll be posting more JouleFuel Smoothie recipes soon. I've got several more to share. I'll be featuring the Vanilla Berry JouleFuel next. (and more Cookies 'N Cream)
